Digital Analyst, Writer, and Photographer
I am a technology professional based in New Jersey. I have a B.A. in Information Technology and Informatics from Rutgers University, and I have been working in technology consulting as a business analyst for pretty much my whole career. I am currently a Senior Business Analyst / User Experience Analyst for BrightStarr.
After being exposed to web content management and user experience design at my position in BrightStarr, I gained an appreciation of the work and the research that it takes to create and maintain a good website. I have also learned to wear multiple hats to help our clients in their quests for amazing intranets, resulting in my experience with understanding business requirements, creating positive user experiences, executing website testing, and training users on how to add and manage content.
I am currently honing my WordPress skills, and I hope to use my experience and knowledge to help people create websites that are right for them.
Fun fact: In my downtime, I enjoy traveling and taking photos of the places I travel to. Click and drag these images (or swipe if you’re on mobile) to see some examples of my photography!

Business analysis has been my focus since I started my full-time career. I have over 5 years of experience as a business analyst, both in a corporate environment and in a significantly smaller “start-up.” Every project is different, but I always use my logical mindset, my attention to detail, and my communication skills to ensure that my projects are successful.
As a BA, I have delivered the following to clients:
I have gained knowledge of user experience for intranet and public facing web design by driving client workshops, including MoSCoW, Speedboat, and Design Studios. Using input from these workshops and other client documentation, I have drafted wireframes and worked with designers to make sure the solution is both functional and visually pleasing.
Most of my UX work has revolved around the design of corporate intranets and public-facing websites, and I look to Nielsen Norman for best practices to incorporate in my work. Many of my projects involved designing for desktop, mobile, and tablet, leading to the use of responsive design in the final designs.
Ultimately, I aim to take my proficiency at business analysis and to combine that with my new UX skills to provide clients with solutions that balance both form and function.
Having worked with many content owners and managers for my clients, I have helped to capture functional requirements around content management at the enterprise level. I have also assisted smaller clients in publishing their content as needed, and have begun to learn WordPress in order to get more experience with day-to-day content management.
I now run this personal website, along with my travel blog, Life In Cutscenes, both of which contain my own original content (including text and photos).
